Synthetic fuel for sports cars
At our sound design studio, we love taking on challenging projects, and Pulsar was no exception.
The client had previously engaged with three different sound design studios, none of which were able to fulfill their expectations. We were given a blank slate and a compressed timeline, but we were up for the challenge.
The video was about a fast car, energy, passion and love for racing. It was a dynamic and driving video with a lot of editing joints. Our goal was to create sound design that was aggressive, bright, and powerful, yet supporting the visual. We quickly realized that previous solutions were not working, as they were related to car engine sounds that didn't fit the concept of the video.

PROCESS
It went beyond the mere task of voicing a kiss and a car engine
We decided to take a different approach and created a sample pack from the sound of the liquid fuel, which became the center of this whole concept. This solution was a game-changer. We created a sound that matched the energy, passion of stadium, and love for racing that was conveyed in the video.
This project was particularly exciting because it focused on telling a story through the innovative use of music and sounds. It went beyond the mere task of voicing a kiss and a car engine, the music and rhythm have done so much more for bringing the story to life.

RESULT
This project provided an exceptional opportunity for us to showcase our creativity and skill in crafting a soundscape that perfectly complemented the visuals, resulting in a truly immersive and engaging experience for the audience.
The Pulsar project ended up being so successful that it was submitted to festivals in Thailand and New York, where it won all the awards. We are thrilled to have been a part of this project and to have created sound that helped to tell the story of true passion.
